Institute of the Sun moves between Los Angeles and the desert, between cultural density and open landscape, institutional networks and self-organized communities.

Through residencies, journeys, studio visits, conversations and site-specific projects, the Institute invites Nordic artists to encounter Southern California as a testing ground for artistic practice and different ways of living.
